Create cool sun-powered cyanotype prints while learning the science behind them! A fun blend of art and STEM for tweens—take home your masterpiece and a science facts sheet!

Join us for Tween Science Saturday as we explore the creative world of cyanotypes—a fun and educational experiment that blends science with art! Tweens will create their own sun-powered prints using special cyanotype paper and natural objects like leaves, flowers, and more. This hands-on activity encourages curiosity and creativity while introducing basic scientific concepts about light and chemical reactions. Each participant will receive a take-home explanation sheet that details how the science behind the experiment works. All materials provided; no registration required!
