Explore coding with Scratch! Drop in to create games or stories, ask questions, and build STEM skills—no lessons, just fun. Devices provided or bring your own!
Scratch Hour is a fun and informal STEM program where kids can explore the world of coding using the Scratch platform! Designed as a drop-in hour of creativity and problem-solving, participants can use library computers or bring their own devices to design games, animations, and interactive stories. There won’t be formal lessons—just time to experiment, ask questions, and share ideas with others. Scratch helps kids build critical thinking and coding skills in a low-pressure environment. A book display with coding resources will also be available for continued learning.
