Celebrate Shark Week by making sharks out of "trash"! Learn about ocean conservation while creating art. Book display and list included. Turn trash into treasure!

Celebrate Shark Week with creativity and conservation in our Upcycled Shark Art program! Patrons will use recycled and repurposed materials—aka “trash”—to create their very own shark-themed artwork. This hands-on activity is a great way to explore the importance of environmental and ocean conservation while encouraging artistic expression. A book display and take-home booklist will highlight stories and nonfiction titles about sharks, recycling, and protecting our oceans. Let’s turn trash into treasure while learning how to protect what matters under the sea!
