Join the Henry County Fire Rescue team for a special fire safety storytime followed by a visit from a fire engine! Explore the truck and learn from real firefighters!

This special storytime will be led by Henry County Fire Rescue, followed by a fire safety lesson and a craft. 

From 11:30-12:30, a fire engine will visit the McDonough branch! This will give kids the opportunity to explore the truck, learn about the tools and gear that firefighters use, and ask questions about careers in fire service. This time will also include a "friendly firefighter demonstration," which teaches kids that even though some of the gear might look scary, firefighters are safe and are here to help!
