A flavorful and surprising journey through barbecue traditions that illuminate Georgia’s social, cultural, and civic history.

May is National Barbecue Month.  We are celebrating with a history of barbecue traditions in Georgia presented by Dr. James Welborn, Associate Professor of History at Georgia College & State University.  Samples are being provided by Fresh Air BBQ.  This program is made possible through a grant from Georgia Humanities.
