Kids explore drama, build paper puppets & sets, and create their own mini plays in this fun workshop that blends art, literacy, and STEM! Great for school-aged kids—no registration required.
Let your creativity take center stage at the Puppet Show Workshop! In this hands-on program, kids will explore dramatic arts by learning how plays are constructed—including dialogue, stage direction, and set design—while also getting crafty with STEM-inspired puppet set building. We’ll begin with a mini flat lay puppet show to introduce how simple paper puppets and sets can bring a story to life. Then, we’ll dive into how to create our own plays and bring them to the “stage”!
Kids will build their own flat lay puppets and sets based on short plays provided, and get to take everything home to keep the creativity going.
Best for school-aged children, but modified activities will be available for younger kids. No registration required!
