Learn how animation works with Mr. Al! For ages 9–13. Make your own zoetrope and animations. Registration required. Register online, over the phone or in person!

Join us for Intro to Animation with Al, an exciting hands-on program designed to introduce tweens (ages 9–13) to the magic of animation! Led by guest instructor Mr. Al Waller, participants will explore the history and fundamentals of animation, experiment with real animation equipment, and even create their own simple animations. With a focus on creativity and self-expression, this workshop includes fun activities like building and using zoetropes! Animation-themed books will also be available for check out. This is a unique opportunity to explore a different area of the arts in a guided and inspiring environment.
