Learn how to grow herbs with UGA Extension! Families will hear tips, then plant their own herb to take home. A great way to get kids gardening! For children and their families.

Join the Children’s Department and the UGA Extension Office for Right Plant for the Right Place: Herbs! This family-friendly gardening program is a great way for kids and their grown-ups to learn the basics of growing herbs—what they are, how to care for them, and where they grow best. Mr. Daly from the UGA Extension Office will lead an engaging talk, and then each participant will get to plant their own herb to take home and grow. This is a perfect introduction to gardening that children of all ages can enjoy. A gardening-themed book display will be available to explore even more!
