Design and build paddle boats to survive a challenge! Learn engineering basics with hands-on fun and explore buoyancy and propulsion. Engineering book display included.

Dive into engineering fun with our STEM program: DIY Paddle Boats—Sink or Sail! Participants will be challenged to design and build their own paddle boats to survive a given scenario. Using problem-solving and creativity, they’ll explore key engineering concepts such as buoyancy, balance, and propulsion as they test their rafts in water. This hands-on activity encourages critical thinking and teamwork while offering a practical introduction to basic physics and engineering principles. An engineering book display will be available to inspire and educate.
