Dr. Marilyn L. Flynn, Ed. D Community Meeting RoomJoin us for an hour of making your own fossil samples with air dry clay! We will learn about how paleontologists study pressed fossils and make some of our own! All materials supplied.
Dig into hands-on creativity at our Teen Air-Dry Fossils program! In this interactive workshop, teens will learn how real fossils form and then create their own fossil replicas using air-dry clay. We’ll explore different types of fossils, from imprints and casts to preserved remains, and talk about what these discoveries teach us about prehistoric life and ancient ecosystems.
This program blends art and earth science in a fun, low-pressure environment—no experience needed. Whether you love dinosaurs, nature, or just getting creative with your hands, this workshop is a chance to experiment, learn something new, and leave with a one-of-a-kind fossil keepsake. Perfect for curious minds and creative spirits alike!
