Step into the world of animation with Dinomation, an exciting summer workshop series designed especially for tweens 8-12! Over the course of six hands-on sessions, participants will explore the art and process of animation—from the first spark of an idea to a finished animation!
Tweens will learn how to develop original stories, create detailed storyboards, design unique characters, and experiment with animation techniques such as stop-motion and basic digital animation. Along the way, they’ll build skills in storytelling, visual planning, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Each session builds on the last, giving participants the opportunity to grow their projects and refine their techniques over time.
By the end of the series, animators will have completed their own short animated project and gained a behind-the-scenes understanding of how animated stories come to life.
Registration is required, as space is limited. Because this is a progressive workshop series, participants must commit to attending at least 4 of the 6 sessions to ensure the best experience for themselves and the group. Join us this summer and turn your imagination into motion with Dinomation!
