Weekly STEAM fun for homeschoolers ages 5-8. Explore, experiment, and build critical thinking skills through hands-on activities.
Our weekly Homeschool STEAM program invites young learners ages 5–8 to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities designed just for them. Each session encourages kids to ask questions, make predictions, and investigate how the world works in a fun and supportive environment.
Activities introduce key STEAM concepts in ways that spark curiosity and build early problem-solving skills. From simple experiments to creative building challenges, young learners will work together, test their ideas, and learn that mistakes are part of the process.
This program is designed for ages 5–8, but preschool-aged siblings are welcome to participate with parent assistance. For families bringing younger siblings who aren’t ready for the activities, a small play area with toys and coloring sheets will be available so everyone can enjoy their time at the library.
Families can also browse our free homeschool curriculum collection during the program to find additional resources to support learning at home.
Registration is encouraged to help us plan materials but is not required to attend. All supplies are provided.
