This is a class for adults and will cover overall brain development and literacy for children age birth - 5 years old

Cochran Library will be offering a free class for adults on Early Childhood Development and the importance of literacy with young children. 

The class will cover brain development of children from birth to five years old as well as the 4 primary domains for development and the role literacy plays in all of this.  We will cover the dangers of too much screen time for infants/toddlers and the many ways literacy can help form young minds into active learners.  We will also cover "learning through play" and the true definition of that phrase.
