Recreate famous art using silly, unexpected materials! Learn a bit of art history, then make your own “bad” masterpiece. For adults—no skills required, just creativity and fun!
Join us for a hilarious and hands-on twist on art appreciation! At this special Bad Art Night, adult participants will celebrate the joy of creativity by reimagining iconic masterpieces using unexpected and non-traditional materials—think macaroni Starry Night or tissue paper Mona Lisa.
In support of our Summer Reading Program theme Color Our World, this event highlights the many ways art can enrich our lives, even when it’s a little messy or wonderfully “bad.” Participants will also get a brief introduction to the history behind the chosen artworks and their original artists.
No art skills? No problem! This is all about embracing imperfection, laughing with others, and expressing yourself freely. All materials will be provided. Just bring your sense of humor and creative spirit!
